This replica is not a counterfeit original. It is a replica.  Hand crafted.  Limited in production, functional, with the same wheel base, width, length, height, as the 1951 Le Mans winner.
Wherever possible, new or reconditioned Jaguar parts are used.  Parts no longer available are replicated to capture the function and appearance of the original.   Minor engineering changes have been made to take advantage of new technologies for safety, maintenance, and driving pleasure.
